Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia and hold the Certification in Death, Dying and Bereavement through the Association for Death Education and Counseling. I work with adults who have experienced a death or non-death loss. Although I have years of experience working with grief, each person is unique and my goal is to give you a dedicated space to express and process your particular loss.
My background includes 15 years in the field of hospice and palliative care where I served as an Interfaith chaplain, bereavement coordinator and palliative care counselor. I completed my counseling internship in the counseling center at SCAD-Atlanta. In the past few years, I have also led caregiver groups at Kate’s Club focused on suicide loss. My early experiences working in the pediatric hospital setting led me to complete additional training in postpartum mental health.
I am a person-centered therapist. I also utilize expressive arts, narrative therapy and dreamwork to assist clients in gaining deeper insight into difficult situations.
